 empty...
 some of the tags...
I used the "Christmas Tree" and "Santa's Reindeer" die cuts from the Aspen Holidays 2016 collection...
I used a Tim Holtz tag die for the tags...
the snowflake die is Joy Craft 6002/2019...
 more tags...
 the top of the envelope...
bow is cheesecloth, pearl strand and pink chiffon ribbon...
I added a snowflake diamante charm and somewhere there are two small pine cone charms...
the snowflake is Crealies CL CF 18...
love this gorgeous reindeer die cut...
and last is "Me and My Snowman" from the Aspen Holiday 2016 collection...
coloured with my copics...
dusted with Chunky White Frantage and finished with a frame of white ruffled ribbon and lace/rhinestones...

Fussy and Fancy Challenge #179-"Angels/Fairies or Winter"

Good Friday morning dear blogging friends!

Well we're almost at the BIG day!!  And are we prepared??!!  It certainly looks a lot like Christmas here with all the snow that came our way Sunday and Monday!

Today at Fussy and Fancy we begin the last challenge of 2016...this challenge will run for four weeks bringing us into the New Year!!  Our hostess is our talented Jules who has chosen "Angels/Fairies or Winter" as her theme!  We have Lawn Fawn as our wonderful sponsor!

I've been trying to use up stash in my quest to tone down my craft room...it is currently taking up about 1,000 square feet of the finished part of our basement...I've been asked to bring it down to about half that...YIKES!!!  Not sure how I'm going to achieve this??!!

Anyway the point is that I've been wading through stuff I didn't even know that I had!!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I found these DARLING decoupage images...I've NEVER done decoupage so thought "YUP...let's do this!"
these darling little Angels fit right into Jules theme...
this one I made into a little sitting Angel by taking a half circle...forming it into a cone... covering it with lace...then topping with this darling decoupage image...
I added sparkly ribbon to the back with a tag punched from Maja Design DP and "Merry Christmas" ribbon...
the stamp is Whimsy...
I cut two tags using a Tim Holtz die and Maja Design DP...
added a scalloped oval matt cut with a Spellbinders die and Maja DP...
added one of my favs...cheesecloth and then the image...
finished with sparkly ribbon and "Merry Christmas" bow and tag...
oh and lovely lace bottom of course...
 the other image...

And those are my "Angel" gift tags!!  Now it's time for you to pay my talented team mates a visit at Fussy and Fancy...then come on and join us...we always LOVE to see what you have to inspire us with!!

All materials are listed/linked above.

Until next time...thank you for taking the time to stop by!!  Your visits and comments are SO very much appreciated!!!

Midway Reminder at Simply Magnolia December Challenge-"Anything Goes"

Happy Holidays dear blogging friends!

Can you believe that we are already half way through December??!!  What a crazy hectic month December has been...we celebrated our sweet little Max's (my youngest Grandson) second birthday on Sunday...what a DARLING he is!!!  We've been trying to teach him that he's two but it seems that he wants to be anything but two...when he woke up on his birthday my DIL wished him a happy second birthday...his response...he got quite upset and said "NO!!!  I five!!"

Anyway onto my post for today...we're at the midway point of our December challenge at Simply Magnolia...our theme is super easy..."Anything Goes" and our wonderful sponsor for this month's challenge is Magnolia-licious!!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
my card base was cut using Go Kreate #360028 and Maja Design paper from the I Wish 6x6 paper pad...
I used a door frame die cut but it seems to have gotten lost in everything else...lol!!...
I thought the door frame would make it look like Tilda was hanging her wreath on it...
this is sweet "Holly Wreath Tilda" from the Aspen Holiday 2016 collection...
coloured with my copics...
dusted with Chunky White Frantage...
framed with some cheesecloth...
I added holly leaves Scrapiniec chipboard pieces that I inked with Ranger's Bundled Sage...
a Merry Christmas Scrapiniec chipboard piece inked in Ranger's Festive Berries...
added some berries and bow made with shabby chic seam binding, cheesecloth and chiffon ribbon...

And call it done!!  Now it's time for you to get busy and come on over and join us at Simply Magnolia for your chance to win the fabulous Magnolia-licious prize!

Midweek Magnolias Challenge #153-"Christmas"

Happy Wednesday dear crafty friends!!

I hope that everyone is in good shape as far as their Christmas prep goes!  I have my big annual family party that we're hosting here on December 17th...still lots to do but not in panic mode just yet...give me a couple days and I'll be hyper ventilating I'm sure...lol!!  I'm always well prepared in my head...it's just the logistics of actually following through that I have a hard time with...GROAN!

Okay onto to today's post!  Today at Midweek Magnolias we begin a brand new challenge...and it fits right in with getting those Christmas cards/projects done cause our theme for the next two weeks is "Christmas" and as usual we are sponsored by the wonderful Magnolia Sweden!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I've had it in my head to make a poinsettia plant out of the fabulous Foamiran...
now the problem was that I couldn't find any in red...SO...I went with white and inked it red...
well you should see my hands...three days after finishing my project I'm still trying to get the red off my hands...LOL!!...
the poinsettias were made using Tim Holtz poinsettia die...
I used a paper mache pot which I covered with some Christmas tissue and decoupage...
anchored it onto two scalloped circle matts and then silver doilies...
the tag is a Tim Holtz die...
DP is Maja Design "A Gift For You"...
 without the tag...
I ran lace all around the rim of the paper mache pot...
I added this wired ribbon decorated with a diamante star and dear charm...
 top view...
the Foamiran poinsettias with chiffon/pearl flower clusters throughout...
smaller poinsettias were cut using Magnolia Doohickey Kit Volume 2 and Maja Design from "It's Christmas Time"...
this is sweet "Lace Hood Tilda" from the A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection...
coloured with my copics and dusted with Chunky white Frantage...
framed with rhinestone lace...
I added tiny red bows for her hair ribbons...
 the tag...
back of tag for a personalized sentiment...

And that is my poinsettia plant!!  Time for you to check out the gorgeous creations that my talented team mates have to show you...then come on over and join us in this fun Christmas challenge!!
