Fussy and Fancy Challenge #117 "Summer"

Good Friday morning all!!

It's time once again for a new Fussy and Fancy Challenge...this one is SOOO EASY!!  We are celebrating "Summer" and we have the WONDERFUL Crafty Sentiments as our sponsor!!!  Fussy and Fancy has such a diverse and WONDERFUL range of creative palette that I'm sure you will find something that tickles your "Fancy"...so check out my teamie's projects...pay a visit to their wonderful blogs...then get busy and DAZZLE us all with your talent!!!

I have been wanting to do one of the "Card in a Box" projects for so long but just never got around to it...the very easy tutorial can be found HERE!!

Here is what I came up with...

I used the Crafty Sentiments "Lady Bird and Butterfly" digi...
the DP is some left overs from my stash (I used the front and back patterns from the same paper) so not sure what it was...

I didn't add a sentiment...I will do this when I send it out to it's recipient...
 the reverse side of the paper decorated with chiffon ribbon, zipper charm (Frantaged of course), rose and lady bug pop up sticker...


I couldn't believe how quickly this SWEET little box came together...a MUST for something quick but so very APPEALING when you want something a little on the different side!!  And you can decorate it as much or as little a you want depending on whether you're mailing or hand delivering!!!

Fresh Brewed Designs June Digi Release!!

Good Monday morning all!!

Today marks the release of Fresh Brewed Designs newest digi line and they're cutie pies or I should say cutie bugs...LOL!!!

Heather has created more of those sweet little bugs for us to play with!!

Here is my cutie...

I had the new "Cutie Bug Gift" digi to work with...
I made a tent style that ties together with the red polka dot ribbon...
 closer view with three bees I found in my stash flying around him...
there are actually bees on my DP but I think most of them got covered up...LOL...
 stick pin with flowers and sentiment from Lilli of the Valley...
 lower left hand corner flower arrangement...
you can also see a flower that I punched out with pearl in the center to help tie with the paper...
the inside of the card is the reverse side of the paper...
sentiment inside is a Rubbernecker Stamp...

Get Well Soon!!

Hey there and happy Saturday all!!

Hope that everyone is enjoying a wonderful weekend!!  We are having a sunny day here...a little cool for summer or late spring I guess but gloriously sunny!!

I just finished a "Get Well" card that I will pop over to a neighbour's today that just had surgery.  I used two super cute House of Mouse stamps...I so LOVE working with these sweeties!!

Here is what I came up with...

I found this DP in my stash with bandage print...how perfect is that...

coloured with my prismas... 
corner arrangement with flowers, crown stick pin, sentiment, butterfly circle charm with pearl set in, ribbon and tiny leaf tendrils...

card style is a swing style...

on the other side of the "swing" is this ADORABLE House of Mouse stamp HMGR1006 "Mouse Drops"...

I added Glossy Accents to the liquid parts but they aren't really showing in this photo... 
 
So that's it for my "Get Well Soon" card...off to do errands, pick up some flowers and deliver this to my neighbour!!

Fussy and Fancy Challenge #116-"Things with Wings"

Good Friday morning!!

I have always LOVED this sweet image by Whimsy Stamps...
this is "Dreamy Dragon"...
the circle matt was made using LR01112...

 a closer view...
 the bow is made using Marianne Design-CR1236 smallest 1/4 circle die and largest rounded tab die...
I added a stick pin, heart bead, dragonfly charm and flowers...
circle sentiment tag is from Lilli of the Valley...
mounted on a jump ring attached to chiffon ribbon...
the card style is an accordion style with alternating cuts and folds...

Lazy Summer Days...

Hello all...hope you are well!!

So...my minds been all over the map...thinking about what to do for my next Tilda Town addition!!  This...maybe that...can't give you specifics cause they're still in the mind...rolling around for future creation...my mind finally settled on something summery!!  There are so many wonderful summer creations out there...Magnolia-licious has a FANTASTIC "Summer Hop" with so many beautiful creations to feast your eyes upon AND Totally Tilda has an "All at Sea" theme...how perfect is that!!  Time for Magnolia has a "Summertime" theme!!

So summer it is...where to begin??  Well...as a kid how FUN was it to have your own lemonade stand...and then there was going to the beach!!!

Ah...ha...why not lemonade at the beach???

Better yet lemonade on a shabby chic beach...LOL!!!!

Now close your eyes...imagine those lazy summer days...Tilda style...

I covered a 12X12 piece of chipboard with cheesecloth dies with tea...
made some "dunes" before adding the cheesecloth, added Frantage and shells...
 here is Tilda's beach front lemonade stand..
 Edwin catering to the ladies...
maybe I should have called it "Edwin's Beach Front Stand"...LOL!!!...
this is "Edwin Catching Fish" I masked out the fish and added a lemon...
 here is "Splash Tilda"...
she is sitting on a rock that I brought back from a beach in Nova Scotia...
 it was my Father's favourite beach that he would visit when visiting his brother there...
here is "Summer Beach Tilda"...

this is "Tilda on the Beach" (the one in the front)...
on the right is "Summer Bathing Tilda"..
and left is "Seashell Tilda"...
"Open" for business...
the other side does have a "Closed" sign...
all beaches must have a sand castle...
this is made from "Delight" molding clay, painted and Frantaged...
sign guiding us to the "Beach Front Stand"...
a bowl that I made with circle dies, run through distress inked Tim Holtz wood grain embossing folder...
lemons made with the molding clay and coloured with yellow copic...
I added a small green starburst for the stem...
the lemonade containers are made with circles cut from DP and acetate...
the pink and yellow "lemonade" is beads...
pearl knob and spouts are from my stash...
and this is one of the beach umbrellas that I made with a dowel, circle of DP and ruffled ribbon...
 
 
So that is the latest addition to my Tilda's Town!  I'm hoping that we are able to enjoy lots of "lazy summer days" in the months to come!!!

Flowers & Lace at Fresh Brewed Designs!

Good Wednesday morning dear friends!!

Well it's time once again for a new challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs and it's a super easy one..."Flowers and Lace"!!  Now don't tell me that you don't have a little bit of these two items knocking around in that stash of yours!!  So take a little mosey through the blogs of my teamies and then get busy crafting!!

This is what I came up with...

I decided to make another "Thank You" card...
I used Heather's so very versatile image "Blossoms and Butterflies"...
I made an easel card and cut the front shape out with a Go Kreate die... 
 a closer view...
I made this bow with tea stained gauze...
added a stick pin, beads and butterfly charm...
 "Thank You" sentiment is a stamp from my stash...
 I ripped the corner of paper to expose the other paper...
I added a zipper charm to the rip...
